Welcome to Bookables

What Bookables does, and how to start taking bookings this afternoon.

Bookables is the easiest way for a small business to take bookings online. Your customers pick what they want, choose a time that genuinely fits your day, and book it themselves, while you keep every job, proposal, customer and payment in one place.

It runs four quite different kinds of business out of the same app:

  • You go to the customer. Plumbing, cleaning, mowing, pest control.
  • They come to you. Salons, clinics, consultations, treatments.
  • They hire something. Courts, rooms, vehicles, equipment.
  • They join a class. Yoga, workshops, courses.

Whichever you are, this is the place to start.

What you can do with Bookables

  • Take bookings online with your own booking page that customers can use any time, day or night.
  • Show real availability, worked out from your hours, your existing jobs, your travel and your staff, so customers only ever pick slots you can actually do.
  • Manage your day from a single schedule.
  • Send proposals and take payments without leaving the app.
  • Keep your customers, and the properties, pets and vehicles you look after for them, organised in one place.
  • Keep everyone in the loop with automatic messages, once you have chosen which ones to send.

How Bookables is organised

Once you are signed in, the app is split into a few simple areas:

  • Inbox is every conversation, and where new booking requests land.
  • Schedule is your day, laid out booking by booking.
  • Proposals, Bookings, Payments and Customers keep your records and money in order.
  • Classes, if you run them, has its own page.
  • Settings, in the menu under your business name, is where you set up what you sell, your booking page, your team and the rest of your business details.

Not everyone sees all of these. Bookables hides the parts that do not apply to your business. See Addons.

  2. Adding your first service so customers have something to book.
  3. Sharing your booking page so people can find you.
  4. Taking your first booking and seeing it land in your schedule.
