Coupons

A coupon is a code a customer types on your booking page to get money off. Useful for a seasonal promotion, a referral thank you, or making good on something that went wrong.

Find them under Coupons in the main menu.

Creating one

Press Add coupon and fill in:

Code. What the customer types. Short and obvious beats clever: SAVE10 gets used, SPRING-PROMO-2026-V2 does not.

Discount type. Either a percentage off or a fixed amount.

Amount. The number that goes with it.

Then two optional limits, both off by default:

An expiry date, after which the code stops working.

A usage limit, capping how many times it can be redeemed in total.

Statuses

Every coupon shows where it stands:

• Active, working now.
• Inactive, switched off by you.
• Expired, past its date.
• Used up, hit its usage limit.

A coupon that has stopped working tells you which of those it is, so you are not guessing why a customer says the code was rejected.

Tip: Put a usage limit on anything you post publicly. A percentage code with no cap and no expiry is a code that will still be circulating in three years.

How customers use them

The code is entered on your booking page at checkout and the discount is applied to the total there and then. The customer sees the discount on its own line before they confirm.
