Booking options
Layout, formats, and what customers are allowed to do on your page.
The General block under Settings, then Online Booking, controls how the page behaves.
Layout and format
Service layout. How your services are presented: Default, Compact, or List. Compact and List earn their keep once you have more than a handful of services; Default looks better with a few.
Date picker style. Either Available days, which shows only the days you have something free, or Month, which shows a full calendar grid. Available days is kinder to a customer with a busy tradesman; Month suits a business with wide open availability.
Language. The language your booking page is presented in.
Text size. Small, Normal or Large. Worth thinking about if your customers skew older, and worth checking on a phone before you decide.
24-hour time. On or off, whichever your customers read more naturally.
Options
Show prices. Whether prices appear alongside services. Leaving them off makes sense for work you genuinely cannot price without seeing, and makes no sense at all for work you can.
Show duration. Whether the customer sees how long each service takes.
Auto-advance steps. Moves the customer on automatically once they have answered a step, rather than making them press Next. Fewer taps, and noticeably quicker on a phone.
Single page layout. Puts the whole flow on one page instead of stepping through. Suits short flows.
Allow coupon codes. Whether a discount code box appears. See Coupons.
Allow multiple services. Lets a customer book more than one service in one go, which is how somebody books a clean and a carpet clean together rather than making two bookings.
Tip: Change one thing at a time and actually book yourself through the page afterwards. It takes two minutes and it is the only reliable way to know whether the page is any good.
