Business settings
Your name, your home base, your units and currency, and how the app looks.
The Settings page holds your business details. Each one is a block you open, edit and save.
Business name
The name your business is known by across Bookables: on your booking page, and in the emails your customers receive.
Tax number
Your ABN or equivalent, for your invoices.
Home base
The address your day starts and ends from. Bookables uses it to plan routes and work out travel time, so the slots you offer customers are realistic.
Start typing and pick your address from the list, so it is pinned to the right spot on the map rather than guessed at.
Tip: If you work from home, that is fine. Your home base is only used for scheduling and travel planning. It is never shown to customers.
Localisation
Sets the units and currency used everywhere:
- Currency, for all prices, proposals and payments.
- Time zone, so your schedule lines up with your actual day.
- Distance, speed and temperature units.
Set these once and the whole app follows them. The currency also decides some wording: markets that say "bond" see bond, markets that say "security deposit" see that.
Business hours
Your weekly working pattern and any date overrides. Covered in Business hours and availability.
Money settings
Also on this page, and covered in Getting paid:
- Tax
- Bank details
- Invoice options
- Doc Numbering
- Collect payments, for connecting your payout account.
Logo and appearance
Add your logo from the logo panel. It brands your account and can be carried through to your booking page.
The Appearance block controls how the app looks for you. It is a personal preference and does not change what your customers see.
