The customer record
The feed, the history, and the standing work: everything you have done together, in one place.
Open a customer and you get their whole story. The record is built around four tabs and a couple of blocks that answer the questions you actually ask about a customer.
The Feed
The Feed is the record's timeline. Everything that happens to this customer lands here as it happens, and your team can post to it as well.
Write a note. Drop or paste photos straight into the composer.
This is where the before-and-after shots go, the note about the difficult access, the photo of the meter reading. Posts can be edited and deleted, and it is obvious who wrote what and when.
Note: The feed is yours. Notes and photos your team posts are internal and are never shown to the customer.
Bookings, Proposals and Payments
The other three tabs are the history, each with a count on it so you can see what is there before you click:
- Bookings, every job, hire, appointment or class.
- Proposals, every quote you have sent them and where it got to.
- Payments, what you have been paid and what is still outstanding.
The Payments tab flags what is overdue rather than making you work it out.
Repeats
If the customer has a standing arrangement, it shows in the Repeats block, with the next visit due.
If something has stopped the run, the block says so plainly and tells you why: the settings cannot be used, your prepaid balance will not cover the next visit, or a charge did not go through. You end an arrangement from here too.
The figures
Each subject carries its own summary: how many jobs, what they have been worth, and when it was last serviced. Focus a property and the history filters to it.
Starting something new
The Create New button on a record starts a booking, a proposal or a payment with the customer already filled in. It is the fastest route from a phone call to a job on the calendar.
What is next
That is customers covered. Next: Getting paid.
