Built for you

Built for every kind of sewing & dressmaking business

Absolute beginners

Threading, bobbins and a straight seam, capped tight because a first-timer needs you standing at the machine rather than calling out from the cutting table.

Garment short courses

Six evenings that end in a finished shirt or a wearable dress, published as six dates so a student can see the whole commitment before booking any of it.

Overlocker and specialty nights

Two overlockers means a much smaller class than a general sewing night, and it carries its own number and its own price.

BYO machine sessions

Students who bring their own machine free up the bench, so a BYO night can run larger than a class that depends on the studio machines.

One machine left, and the page says so

Places are set to the machines that class uses, and the count drops as bookings land. The eighth booking closes the night, so nobody arrives to share a machine and finish nothing.

Fabric packs paid for at booking

The class fee is charged as the place is taken, so pattern and calico packs are bought against money already in. A private group course goes out as an itemised quote instead.

Less admin, more bookings

Made for sewing & dressmaking businesses

The machines on the bench are the class size

You choose the places per class based on what that class needs to run: eight domestics for the general night, four for the overlocker night, two for the industrial. The page sells exactly that many, and nobody ends up watching over a shoulder for two hours because they were the ninth booking.

Bring your own machine, book a different class

A BYO night is a separate bookable class with its own number of places, because the bench is no longer the constraint. Students see which is which before they book, so nobody carries a machine across town for a class that was never BYO.

Six evenings to a finished garment

A garment course is six dated sessions you publish, not a repeating rule ticking over in the background. That means the week you are at a trade fair never appears, and a student looking at your page can see every date they are committing to before they pay for any of them.

The week they missed, picked up on another night

Somebody who misses week three books a spare place in another class that week, the same way they booked the original. It is a real machine in a real session rather than a credit sitting on an account waiting to be argued about.

Common questions.

Yes. Each class carries its own number of places, so an overlocker night capped at four and a general sewing night capped at eight sell independently of each other.

You publish the six evenings as six dated sessions with the same places on each, and students book the course dates. Every date is one you put there deliberately.

Run BYO as its own class with a larger place count, since the studio machines are no longer the limit. Students book the version that matches what they are bringing.

They book a spare place in another session that suits them, from the same page as any other class. If that session is full there is no spare machine, and the page says so honestly.
