Built for you

Built for every kind of bushwalking & navigation business

Guided day walks

A graded walk on a marked track with a fixed meeting point, capped at what one leader can manage across a full day.

Navigation courses

Map, compass and off-track work run across a weekend, published as two dated days with a much smaller group because it is taught rather than led.

Overnight and hut-based walks

A trip capped by hut bunks or by a permitted camping party size, which is often a lower number than the track itself would suggest.

Private groups and clubs

A club or a workplace booking a leader for their own party, quoted as a job rather than sold place by place.

Grades published as genuinely different walks

A grade four ridge and an easy rainforest loop carry their own descriptions, prices and caps, so nobody signs up to a scramble expecting a stroll.

Ten places and no eleventh

The walk stops selling at the party size your permit and your safety plan were written for, which keeps compliance a fact rather than an intention.

A list somebody holds while you are out of range

Every walker has contact and emergency details recorded before you set off. A club wanting its own navigation weekend is quoted with permits itemised.

Less admin, more bookings

Made for bushwalking & navigation businesses

Ten walkers is a group, twenty is a problem

The number of places on a walk is whatever your permit and your own judgement allow, and the walk stops selling there. National park permits frequently name a maximum party size, and a booking page that lets an eleventh person pay is a booking page that just made you non-compliant on a ridge line.

The list somebody keeps while you have no reception

Every walker on the session has contact details and an emergency contact recorded against them, so before you set off there is a real list of who is out there and who to ring. That is a very different artefact to a group chat and a rough head count in a car park.

Grading a walk so people book what they can do

A grade four scramble and a gentle rainforest loop are published as separate walks with their own descriptions, prices and caps. Somebody sees the distance, the ascent and the grade before they book, which prevents the conversation that starts at the trailhead and ends with the whole group turning back.

Weather that makes a walk unwise

Total fire ban, a flooded creek crossing or a heat warning means the walk is off, and everyone booked on it is in one place with a phone number. Cancel or move the session and the group is emailed. The judgement is entirely yours; what you get is a way to act on it once and reach everybody.

Common questions.

Set the places on the walk to that number. The walk stops selling once they are gone, so the group that turns up is the group your permit and your safety plan were written for.

Against each walker as a customer record, so before you set off you have a list of who is on the walk and who to contact for each of them, rather than a set of names taken down in a car park.

Publish walks separately by grade, with the distance, the ascent and the terrain in the description. People book the walk they read about, and a hard scramble is never mistaken for an easy loop.

Publish the two days as two dated sessions with the same small number of places. Participants see both days before booking and no date exists unless you created it.
