Bookables.

Decide who can do what.

Aug 2, 2026Settings

Owner, Manager and Staff, with every permission set by you, so a staff member opens the app to their own jobs and nothing else.

A business with two people in one van does not need roles. A business with an office, three vans and an apprentice does, because the person who needs Tuesday's jobs is not the person who needs last year's takings. Bookables now has them.

  • Three roles, and you say what they mean. Owner, Manager and Staff ship with sensible defaults, and Settings, Roles lets your account move any of them. What a manager can do here is your decision, not ours.
  • A staff member sees their own jobs, not the whole book. They open the app to the work assigned to them. The classes they teach count as theirs. Everything else is not there to be scrolled past.
  • Change someone's role from their own page. Open the person, change what they can do. The Team page is now two tabs with a filter, so who is active and who is not is one glance rather than a hunt.
  • Deactivating someone takes their access away. They are out from that moment, and the account is never left without an owner.
  • What the job needs, and no more. Someone out on a job still gets the name and number of the customer they are going to see, without the rest of your customer list coming with it.
